National Assembly speaker seeks politicians' support for socio-economic development

Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has urged the leadership of all political parties for extending full support to the government for maintenance of peace, employment generation, development and service of the people in real sense. Addressing different public gatherings at Maneri Bala, Gohati Serai, Panpeni, Gulshanabad and other places of his electoral constituency NA-18, Swabi, he said that political leadership should not adopt detestation in national development and resolution of the basic problems of the people.
"Political differences and contesting elections is part of politics, but as the people have mandated us then it is our collective responsibility to work for minimizing the problems and agonies of the masses," he said. The Speaker National Assembly said that the PTI governments at centre and provincial levels will take practical steps for the achievement of the constitutional rights of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that war against terrorism has badly affected the economy, employment opportunities and overall infrastructure of the province.
He said that the PTI government will play major role in bringing socioeconomic uplift to stand the province on its own feet. Asad Qaiser told the people that besides his recent meeting with Chinese Ambassador and Iranian Foreign Minister, while on September 6 he is also due to meet Chinese Foreign Minister. Similarly, he said that other international delegations are also due to visit Pakistan.
At present, he said their top priority is the creation of environment for employment opportunities. He said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is fortune changer project under which millions of employment opportunities in different sectors of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He expressed concerned over the matter that no project of KP was included in the countrywide CPEC , but the province was ignored by the previous government in that context. Asad Qaiser said joint work of government and opposition will be required for the future of children, employment, education, health and maintaining of peace. He said, "At present, we are required to abandon the mindset of overthrowing each other and would have to come forward for the cause of national development."
He thanked the people for overwhelming voting for him, saying that politics is his hobby and passion and it is nothing else than the service of the people. He said that very soon an office will be opened in the area to resolve the longstanding problems of the people.
