The 'Green Pakistan' tree plantation campaign has been launched in government-run schools in district Upper Dir. In this connection, the Sub-Divisional Education Officer (SDEO) Syed Chiragh-ud-din along with Dilawar Jan on Monday distributed saplings to the head teachers in his office.
Speaking on the occasion, the official called upon the teachers and students to play their effective role in the ongoing "Green Pakistan" tree plantation campaign and grow more and more trees as to increase beauty of the area and find control over environmental pollution. Syed Chiragh Din also asked the teachers to inform their students over the advantages of trees while also regarding the disadvantages of deforestation.
