Selcuk University, Konya, Turkey has also been proud partner of SU in terms of academic research and professional collaboration for the past two decades."
The above views were expressed by SU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Fateh Muhammad Burfat on the occasion of reception hosted by SU in the honor of Prof Dr Huseyin Kara, Vice Rector, Selcuk University, Konya,Turkey at Vice Chancellor's House at the varsity premises.
"Selcuk University is one of the finest higher education institutions in the world with impressive international ranking. I am indeed proud of the fact that SU enjoys sustained partnership with such excellent seat of higher learning in the global setting", Dr Burfat asserted.
Prof Dr Kara made a special mention of 20-year long cordial and mutually beneficial relations between SU and Selcuk University.
He said Turkey and Pakistan have striking cultural, religious and historical similarities, adding that SU faculty and students should take maximum benefit of "Mauvelana Academic Exchange Programme of Turkish universities. Earlier, NCEAC Director Dr Shahabuddin Memon welcomed all guests, shared rich academic and research profile of the visiting guest with the audience and filled them in on ongoing research collaborations between SU and Selcuk University.
SU Registrar Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Chandio, SUTA President Dr Arfana Bagum Mallah, SUTA Secretary Dr Azhar Ali Shah, Incharge Dean Faculty of Arts Prof Dr Rafique Ahmed Memon and others also spoke on the occasion.
