Samsung’s innovative monitors aimed at gamers, content creators, saving space
Most of the tech firms are gearing up to show off their products in the biggest annual tech show to be held next week, where Samsung too will demonstrate its three new monitors.
Samsung gave a glimpse of its three new monitors that it will be showing off next week at Consumer Electrics Show (CES) 2019. All the three are new innovative ones integrated with different features; one is aimed to save space, another one is aimed gamers, and the third one is a curved monitor for content creators.
The first is the modern, flexible and minimalist ‘Space Monitor’ that allows users to focus solely on the screen. The monitor is unique for its built-in space saving quality and discrete cable management. It contains a minimalist fully-integrated arm, clamps to the desk and frees up desk space for ‘ultimate user productivity’. When not in use, the monitor can be pushed back and store flat against a wall. There is a unique arm stand that disappears into the back of the monitor’s slim-bezel. When not in use, the arm can be easily tilted, lowered or extended from the wall.
The second monitor is the ‘CRG9 49” Gaming Monitor’ and is the world’s first high-resolution super ultra-wide monitor, as Samsung calls it. Meant for gamers, the 49-inch display minimizes image lag and motion blur and provides superfine detail to keep-up with fast paced games. The monitor has more features that reduce shutter, screen tearing and input latency for ensuring best frame rate and smoothest gaming experience. It also offers picture-by-picture functionality and a smaller stand size for efficient space usage.
The third ‘UR59C 32” Monitor’ is the world’s first 32-inch curved 4K UHD designed specifically for content creators. The monitor supports up to one billion colors and delivers a ‘truly immersive experience’ that shines while creating content and art, watching videos or gaming while also reducing eye strain. The monitor features slim design and a two-pronged base that reduces space taken.
“Samsung’s latest monitor lineup is incredibly versatile, and demonstrates our commitment to continued innovation and leadership in the category,” said Seog-gi Kim, Samsung’s Executive Vice President of Visual Display Business.
