General Bajwa also presented a letter containing details of collections. The letter says; "It gives me immense pleasure to share with you that the Supreme Court's decision regarding construction of Diamer-Bhasha and Mohammad Dams has been well received by the Pakistan Army. In order to support the national cause, all ranks have contributed. The army officers, including civilian officers, paid out two days pay, while junior commissioned officers/soldiers and civilians paid one day pay."
The letter further states: "Pakistan Army's welfare organizations have also voluntarily made contribution for this cause. In sum, I am pleased to intimate that an accumulated amount of over Rs 1 billion has been collected and is being deposited in the Supreme Court Diamer-Bhasha and Mohammad Dams Funds."

"We were overwhelmed by the nation's response in the form of generous donations for this national cause and the confidence the nation placed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan." The total amount in the Supreme Court Dams Fund till September 10, 2018 is Rs 2,018,005,908.
