KARACHI: Four alleged criminals were injured in two different police encounters in the metropolis on Friday.
According to rescue sources, a police encounter took place near Soldier Bazaar in which three alleged criminals–Farhan, aged 40, Shah Nawaz, 30 and Ahaq, 35, were injured in the shootout.
The injured men were taken to Civil Hospital Karachi for treatment. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
Separately, during a snap checking in Chanesar Goth, a police team signaled a suspected biker identified as Muhammad Adnan to stop but he opened fire on the police team.
An exchange of fire, the robber received bullet injuries. Police arrested him in injured condition and recovered weapons, bullets, mobile phones and a motorbike from his possession.
The injured was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for treatment.
