HIV test of TB patients to be conducted

With a view to dig out TB patients, special teams of health department would visit the districts of Southern Punjab, Director Punjab TB Control Program (PTP) Dr Zarfishan Tahir, said. While presiding over two-day Inter-district review meeting organized by the PTP at a local hotel, here today, she said, in future HIV test of TB patients would also be conducted to remove the possibility of co-morbidity in such patients.
