State Minister for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi on Thursday warned encroachers to demolish encroachments within 24 hours; otherwise, concerned department will erase them. The Interior minister conducted inspection of rising number of encroachments in the commercial centers of the capital city and ordered for their removal within 24 hours. The minister also issued directives to city's biggest shopping center, Centaurus Mall, to demolish its site office set up on state land. During another meeting, Afridi directed to ensure complete implementation on all the 20 points of National Action Plan (NAP).
He said that the provincial governments should work with the federal government like a team. The minister stressed the need for further strengthening inter-provincial coordination.
