Nasir Kareem Baloch who contested the last election to Sindh Assembly from Lyari's PS-108 constituency on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) ticket formally rejoined Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Thursday. "I have come back to my original party. I will make Lyari stronghold of PPP again under the dynamic leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari," Baloch said, addressing a press conference at PPP Media Cell along with the PPP city's leadership.
He said he was very disheartened that Bilawal lost the Lyari's seat in the last general election despite having popularity among residents of the constituency. Citing reasons of quitting PTI, he said, the Party was being run as a commercial and multi-national company, being governed by feudal lords where the loyal workers were given no respect and dignity. PPP Karachi Chapter president and Provincial Minister Saeed Ghani, Sindh PPP General Secretary Waqar Mehdi, General Secretary Karachi Division Javed Nagori and other PPP members also spoke on this occasion.
