Members of local journalist community attended in large numbers the funeral prayers of their colleague Aamir Ahmad Mallick here on Sunday evening. Mallick (55) who had served daily Dawn as feature editor and also remained associated with daily The News for more than 20 years had passed away on Saturday.
According to his family, the senior journalist died of an heart attack. He was reportedly suffering from diabetes and coronary conditions for quite some time. He leaves behind a wife and four kids besides a large fraternity of friends to mourn his death.
