Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday planted a sapling here at the State Guest House as part of his government's countrywide 10 Billion Trees Tsunami drive. The prime minister, who was here on his first visit after assuming the office, was accompanied by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Haider Ali Zaidi and Special Assistant to PM Iftikhar Durrani.
The PM had launched his government's massive plantation drive recently in Haripur targeting to plant 10 billion trees across the country to fight the challenges of global warming and climate change.
