ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Senior Leader Senator A. Rehman Malik has paid tributes to the founder of the PPP and first democratically-elected Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto on his 91st birth anniversary.

Senator A. Rehman Malik said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was a born leader with vision, courage and wisdom. He said Shaheed Bhutto was a diplomat, a defence strategist, architect of country’s nuclear programme and a leader who became the leader of the world leaders, said a message issued here on Saturday.

He observed "Unfortunately, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto became the victim of dictator’s lust for power but his judicial murder will remain a scar on our national horizon forever."

Senator Malik said that Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had the vision and dream for the developed and progressive Pakistan.

He said that Shaheed Bhutto was voice of the poor and a ray of hope for the exploited masses.

He said that Bhutto’s vision for a prosperous, peaceful and progressive Pakistan would remain a shining chapter in the history of Pakistan.
