The 9th South Asia Sichuan Business Promotion Roundtable Conference held on 18th and 19th September in Chengdu, China handed over the chair of the 10th Roundtable Conference to Pakistan after the concluding session of the conference which was attended by Syed Mazhar Ali Nasir, Senior Vice President of FPCCI as head of the delegation from Pakistan.
Pakistan chairing the 10th South Asia Sichuan Business Promotion Roundtable Conference is being considered very significant because Pakistan and China are scaling a new height of economic cooperation through CPEC which will affect Pakistan's trade flows through multiple channels beside rapidly expanding and upgrading Pakistan's infrastructure, as well as deepening and broadening its economic links with the China.
The forum has been effectively organising annual conferences since 2010 in Chengdu, China contributing to the economic cooperation between South Asia and Chinese businesses. Pakistan has been actively participating since its inception. 10th edition will witness Pakistan Chairing the session for the second time in South Asia Sichuan Council business promotion annual event.
The theme for the 9th South Asia - Sichuan Business Promotion Roundtable Conference is "Promoting Deep Integration of China - SAARC Economy: Cross Border E-Commerce, Industrial Transfer and Infrastructure Cooperation" which aims to enhance regional economic cooperation and integration between China and SAARC region industries and businesses.
The roundtable is source of cooperation and opportunities for the South Asian business community for striking new partnerships, sharing of best business practices and exploring virgin business opportunities in China.-PR
