The business community on Tuesday expressed complete solidarity with the government and armed forces and pledged to stand united against any foreign aggression and external threat.
Addressing an emergent meeting of all directors in the wake of Indian threat, Pakistan Furniture Council (PFC) Chief Executive Mian Kashif Ashfaq said the entire business community fully supported the valiant armed forces to thwart any aggression and safeguard the geographical boundaries of the motherland.
He said the brave Pakistan army eliminated terrorists and the menace of terrorism from every nook and corner of the country including FATA, he added.
He asserted that peace cannot be established in South Asia without resolving the Kashmir issue. He urged the people of India and Pakistan to join hands to fight against poverty, black money, corruption and the menace of fake currency.
He said many of the internal conflicts in South Asia have cross-border dimensions. Regional cooperation initiatives, which have so far been underused, are likely to be important in countering terrorism. He said Islamabad, Kabul and New Delhi should complement each other rather than negatively competing with each other, he added.
