Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) on Tuesday decided to constitute a committee to contact Parliamentary Committee to probe rigging in general elections 2018. The PSP committee will be headed by its Vice Chairman Wasim Aftab and would give its inputs to the national parliamentary over polls rigging. The decision was taken in the meeting of National Council of the PSP.
The PSP's National Council meeting was chaired by Secretary General of party Raza Haroon and described the constitution of parliamentary committee for polls rigging "positive step". The council decided that the committee of the PSP would approach the parliamentary forum and would submit the evidences of polls rigging with the national parliamentary body.
PSP led by former City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal alleged that polls in urban parts of Sindh were massively rigged, which deprived the party to secure national and provincial assemblies seats in the last general elections.
The PSP miserably failed to win even a single constituency of national and Sindh assemblies in the last general polls with its Chairman and other top leaders losing the election.
