Chief Commissioners' conference next week

Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Dr Jahanzeb Khan is set to hold first chief commissioners conference 2018-19 on October 3, said sources. All the 26 chief commissioners from the field formations of FBR have been invited to attend the conference.
The agenda of the conference included discussion on collection during and up to September 2018 against the corresponding period, revenue performance, comparison of domestic and import collections, major withholding tax sections campaign, income tax arrears position, income tax current demand and collection, audit, sales tax growth, collection from DISCO, major collection from top three sectors, sales tax and federal excise duty position, litigation cases and progress on Dubai properties.
