CDA conducts operation against encroachments

The Enforcement Wing of Capital Development Authority (CDA) Friday conducted operation against encroachments, barriers and parking lots set up on service roads in Blue Area. The Authority removed barriers and other encroachments established in front of different plazas during the ongoing anti-encroachment drive.
The CDA during the last few days conducted operations in the different parts of the city and demolished over 50 buildings set up by encroachers on the state land. The Authority also claimed to have retrieved 33,000 kanals of encroached land located near Kurri Road and Rehara mauza valuing billions of rupees. A plot of four kanals of land occupied by the administration of Centaurus Mall for its site office was also retrieved.
