Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has pledged to make south Punjab as a role model for development, good governance and public service in consultation with members of the assemblies. Buzdar chaired meetings with assembly members from Bahawalpur and Dera-Ghazi Khan Divisions here on Sunday and reviewed in detail the suggestions of elected representatives about development works, welfare schemes and steps to improve the big number of people living in backward areas.
The CM issued orders on some of recommendations for resolution of the problems. Provincial ministers, members of Punjab Assembly, administrative and police officials and concerned officers also attended these meetings.
He said the PTI'S government believes in action rather than big hallow promises. The government is vigorously implementing its 100 days agenda to bring about change in the old rustic status quo for which the government functionaries have to work in a creative manner to solve problems of the people.
The CM assured that the government will increase the capacity of departments and provide facilities to the public we will support the people who are serving public while strict action will be taken against those who lag behind to implement government's policies.
CM said he will continue consultation process with members of the parliament and his doors are open for all members of Punjab assembly. He said Clean Pakistan campaign in the province is being started as real public issues were totally neglected in past. We have started journey towards our destination in one month by adopting policy of merit, economic revival, and transparency and Zero Tolerance against corruption; police reforms are in the last stages towards completion, he added
