Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani on Monday suspended five officers of Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) and 17 officers of various departments of KDA on being absent from their duties. The Minister ordered this on his surprise visit to KDA Civic Centre office and found various officers absent. He also ordered for the deduction of one day salary to the officers of grade 16 and lower staff who were absent from their duties on the same day.
He warned that from now onwards no one should be absent without any reason or else action would be taken against the head of departments.
