Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Syed Ali Hyder Zaidi, has assured business community that the government will resolve all their problems on priority basis. "Federal government has to take difficult decisions under different situations," he said, peaking at annual dinner party of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI).
He said that non-filers of tax returns would not go free. He said efforts would be made to bring them under tax net in next 6 to 8 months. "E-government is the only way to improve governance. I have given 6 months deadline to my ministry to digitalize all process," Zaidi said.
Referring to a recent incident, leader of business community SM Muneer said that self-respect of businessman shouldn't be compromised at any level even during taking any action.
