District Nazim DI Khan, Nawabzada Azizullah Alizai Monday presented 4th annual budget of the district government for fiscal year 2018-19 amounting Rs 8.356 billion and also got approved the revised budget for 2017-18 from District Council.
Addressing on the occasion Azizullah Alizai said that in budget 2018-19, Rs 410.700 million has been allocated for developmental schemes, Rs 619.657 million for non-developmental funds while Rs 7.112 billion allocated for salaries of government employees.
He said that district government would provide all basic amenities of life to masses and would leave no stone unturned for welfare of the people and prosperity of D.I.Khan.
Haroon Awan, Javed, Inamul Haq Ghazni Khel and Naheed Bukhari also addressed the session while officials of various public departments were present on the occasion.
