The 28th German Unity day was celebrated at the Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Karachi on Wednesday. A special ceremony was held at the German Consulate General that was attended by a large number of people from different walks of life. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah was the chief guest on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Sindh Chief Minister said that Pakistan and Germany enjoy very cordial relations. He said there is huge potential to increase cooperation from both sides to increase bilateral trade between the two countries.
He expressed his hope that the new German Consul General will play his important role to further increase bilateral trade between Pakistan and Germany. The German Consul General Eugen Wollfarth said there is huge potential to increase bilateral trade between the two friendly countries. He thanked the guests who attended the ceremony on the German Unity Day. Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durani, MQM leader Farooq Sattar, diplomats of different countries, businessmen and other people from different walks of life attended the event.
