Director General of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Rawalpindi, Irfan Mangi, who was also member of joint investigation team (JIT) that probed Panama Papers case, Thursday, visited Federal Judicial Complex where the accountability courts hearing corruption cases against Sharif family members are located.
According to NAB spokesman, the bureau is in process of shifting of NAB Rawalpindi office and in this connection Mangi as DG NAB Rawalpindi conducted inspection of office of prosecutor located at Federal Judicial Complex to provide furniture, Air conditioners and other facilities as demanded by the prosecution team.
However, according to the media report, Mangi also met with Accountability Court-I Judge Muhammad Bashir and Accountability Court-II Judge Muhammad Arshad Malik hearing corruption cases against Sharif family and former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
The meeting took place in the chamber of Justice Malik and lasted for about one-and-a-half hours, reports claimed, adding that the supervisor of the NAB prosecution team Sardar Muzaffar was also present during the meeting.
