Dam fund Banks told to change title of account

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has directed banks to change the title of dam fund account. According to a circular issued Thursday, the Supreme Court of Pakistan in its order in the Constitution Petition No.57 of 2016, has inter alia directed that the title of the Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dams Fund account is changed to the "The Supreme Court of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of Pakistan Diamer-Bhasha and Mohmand Dams Fund."Banks have been advised to change the title of the fund account, maintained with them in compliance with the aforesaid order of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
