The President Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry (HCST&SI) Muhammad Farooq Shekhani has appealed to Prime Minister Iman Khan and Finance Minister Asad Umer to review the decision adding that the impact of enhancement would bring storm of price hike in all sectors of life.
He said that 10 to 143 percent increase in gas tariff particularly 30 to 50 percent enhancements in industrial unit and Rs 20 per kg in CNG would enhance the prices in transportation and industrial products. He said that enhancement in gas tariff would also make the prices of commodities beyond the reach of common people. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and Finance Minister Asad Umer should realize the difficulties of the people particularly business community and review the decision of enhancement in gas tariff.
