I would take this opportunity to congratulate Business Recorder, Pakistan's first and most credible financial daily, in furthering the effort to promote the bright side of Pakistan. I, Ali Zaidi, as the Minister for Ports and Shipping would emphasize that in Naya Pakistan the role of port cities such as Karachi and Gwadar would be pivotal to Pakistan's economic progress. Not only will the development of ports have a big role to play in the future, but will also be central to success of the CPEC project. The Ministry is determined to renovate and introduce modern techniques in the way port handling and shipping is done in Pakistan.
