PTI govt committed to depoliticized police department: Mazari

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari has said that PTI Government is committed to depoliticized police department by introducing a merit based system.

Addressing a Seminar titled "Police Reforms and Gender Based Violence" in Islamabad on Tuesday , she said only professional police force can play a vital role in improving law and order situation in the country.

Highlighting the importance of Police Reforms, she said it is on the top agenda items of PTI led government.
