Faisalabad Think Tank (FTT) has been created as Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) to deliberate on important issues in addition to suggesting positive policy interventions to restructure our economy on sustained basis.
This body will be consistent of academicians, Scientists, Engineers and intellectuals belongings to different segments of society. Engineer Ahmed Hassan Former Vice President Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) will head this Think Tank.
Chairing a meeting of the FTT, he told that Research and Development section of FCCI had already published many innovative research reports in addition to a very comprehensive book on the economy of Faisalabad. He further told that yet another book was also published explicitly identifying ten major pillars which need immediate reforms to revive and stabilize the national economy.
Engineer Ahmed Hassan told that he has identified 2 small instruments which could be easily attached with existing taps to supply water in almost all residences and commercial buildings. "It will have a tinny spray nozzle which could control excessive use of water without affecting the objective of cleanliness or washing etc", he told, adding that it will make a huge saving of almost 80% of water during dish-washing, bathing and other usage of water.
He claimed that this gadget could be easily attached with existing taps. He told that he could also donate this gadget to selected schools and mosques in order to check the unnecessary wastage of water.
