Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Reform, Makhdoom Khusro Bakhtiar has congratulated Fawaz Ahmed on winning the Punjab provincial assembly seat from Rahim Yar Khan in recently held by-polls with a huge margin. The minister expressed gratitude to workers and people of the city for reposing confidence in Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government.
He stated the victory of the PTI shows that it is the most popular party in the country and expressed confidence that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan the government will resolve the peoples' issues and steer the country towards progress and prosperity, said a press release issued here on Monday.-PR
