Adviser to Chief Minister Sindh on Information, Law and Anti-Corruption Barrister Murtaza Wahab has said that with a view to provide immediate medical relief across the Sindh, the Government of Sindh has decided to appoint 1500 doctors without written examination adding that since procedure adopted by Sindh Public Service Commission is time consuming and the Sindh government wanted to provide relief to the masses of Sindh without wasting time. This, he said in his statement issued on Friday.
Adviser said that initially these doctors which includes specialists and MBBS doctors would be appointed on contract basis. Wahab further said that Sindh Cabinet has already approved the appointment of doctors in its last meeting. Murtaza further added that the degrees of doctors will be checked and then they will be appointed. However, Murtaza Wahab said that appointed doctors will also be required to pass Sindh Public Service Commission examination. The appointment of doctors will start soon and in this regard necessary instructions have been issued to Health department. Due to the decision shortage of doctors in government hospital will be fulfilled and the masses of Sindh will get relief soon, he concluded.-PR
