Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM) stressed upon the need of creating synergy between countries with high end technologies to develop business partnerships in Pakistan. These views were expressed by the delegation of PAAPAM during meeting with the diplomats of different countries.
Mashood Ali Khan, head of Pakistan Auto Show, scheduled to be held in Karachi in April said that the diplomatic offices were the key resources in building the trust between countries as they were the right link between the industries. He said that technology up-gradation through joint ventures & technology collaborations, machinery makers and consultants could be helpful for Pakistan's auto industry; adding that PAAPAM could assist foreign partners not only in creating liaisons with local industry players but also in catering raw material sources that provide auto grade in steel, PVC, chemicals, rubber segments, etc.
Moreover, he emphasized on the assistance from the diplomats for establishing linkages with the relevant associations & business sectors of other countries and for the purpose, PAAPAM could provide B2B meetings; visits of factories and assurance of business assessment opportunities.
He also offered to provide one stop answers for any inquiry related to the Pakistan's auto industry for partnerships. The PAAPAM delegation met the diplomats of Turkish, Netherlands, Japan, Indonesia, Russia and France.
