Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday said that indiscriminate operation against land grabbers and encroachments will be continued and the anti-encroachment committees' setup at district level will review matters pertaining to encroachments.
He said this while having separate meetings with MPAs belonging to Gujranwala and Bahawalpur divisions at the Punjab assembly cafeteria, here on Monday.
Sources claimed that the elected representatives apprised the chief minister about their issues and sought his help to resolve them.
The CM listened to the problems of the assembly members and issued on-the-spot instructions. He assured that the process of consultations with the Assembly members will be continued and close liaison with Assembly members will be ensured so that problems relating to the people could be solved.
He said that proposals of Assembly members will be implemented and every possible resource will be used to solve the problems relating to the Southern Punjab. He added that principals, MS and specialist doctors are being appointed in southern Punjab and other districts.
We shall jointly work to fulfill the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and results of far-reaching reforms in different sectors, including health and education, will soon bear fruits, he added.
Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that katchi abadis and residential areas of the impecunious strata are not included in campaign against encroachments. Provincial Irrigation Minister Mohsin Leghari said that irrigation department is committed to eradicate corruption.
Moreover, the CM has congratulated the candidates achieving success in by-elections in Karachi.
"The PTI is the most popular party in the country and the success of PTI candidates manifests strong trust of the people in the leadership of our team leader," he said
The people have given votes for a new Pakistan and the country will be transformed according to the wishes of the people, he added.
