China's lead output rose 13.7 percent year-on-year to 447,000 tonnes in September, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.
This is the highest monthly output for lead since March 2017, according to data from the NBS, which does not typically release individual numbers for January and February due to distortion effects of the Chinese New Year.
China Sept zinc output -10.1 percent y/y at 456,000 tonnes, according to stats bureau. Sept refined copper output +10.4 percent y/y at 764,000 tonnes while iron ore output -5 percent y/y at 66.93 million tonnes. Sept alumina output +8.2 percent y/y at 5.8 million tonnes, the bureau further reported.
