Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Telenor Pakistan, Irfan Wahab Khan on Thursday said that due to dedicated workforce and vision to empower the society, the company has posted the highest ever revenue of Rs 30 billion during the third quarter of 2018.
In a tweet, Irfan Wahab Khan said: "Extremely proud of healthy revenue growth of Telenor Pakistan. It is because of the efforts of our dedicated workforce, opportunities that exist in Pakistan and our vision to empower the society that has enabled us to post our highest ever revenue."
Telenor Pakistan has reported it's highest ever revenue of Rs 30 billion during the third quarter of 2018, up by 11.5% from Rs 26.89 billion during the same period last year.
The company said that revenue growth and strong profitability was achieved mainly due to an increase in subscriptions, and traffic revenues that grew by 10% during the reported period, as compared to same duration of the last year.
Telenor Group on Wednesday released its financial results for third quarter 2018. Telenor Pakistan has delivered another good quarter with revenue growth and strong profitability with subscription and traffic revenues increasing by 10% and total revenues showing an increase of 11.5% reaching Rs 29.976 billion, up Rs 3.081 billion from the same quarter last year. Reported EBITDA margin was 77%, but adjusted for reversals the underlying margin was 54%.
