At least two people were killed and 14 others injured in armed clash between two groups in the metropolis on Friday, police said. Members of two groups hailing from Bilal Colony New Karachi, which were in old dispute, attacked each other with arms and batons.
Due to firing and baton attacks against each other, 16 people sustained injuries. Heavy contingent of police and Rangers personnel reached the scene of the clash and brought situation under control. The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Meanwhile, the police after registering a case into the incident have started an investigation.
