On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,602. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at 9.089 billion and the number of lots traded 14,587.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 4.225 billion, followed by platinum PKR 2.057 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.073 billion, gold PKR 524.655 million, currencies through COTS PKR 488.782 million, DJ PKR 430.713 million, natural gas PKR 145.134 million, copper PKR 50.902 million, silver PKR 45.626 million, SP500 PKR 35.382 million and Brent crude oil PKR 11.663 million. In agriculture commodities 4lots of cotton valued at PKR 2.088 million were traded.
