Kapil Sharma makes grand comeback, gains top spot again

Ace comedian Kapil Sharma made a grand comeback last week with his new show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ and it has managed to get high TRP.

The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) ratings for the week are out and ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ is placed at the second slot, behind the ‘Star Screen Awards’. The comedian's grand comeback got a lot of thumbs up from the viewers as the show opened to a TRP of 3.4 and stayed on 3.2 over the weekend, Indian media reported.

Celebrities are congratulating Kapil for the high TRP and fans are also celebrating on social media. The second season of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has been produced by Salman Khan. The show has some old members as well as a few new additions. The new additions to the show are Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek.

The guests who appeared on the show so far are Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan and Rohit Shetty for 'Simmba' promotion. Salman also appeared on it along with his father Salim Khan and his brothers, Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan. Both the episodes left the audiences in splits of laughter.
