On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,640. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at 17.882 billion and the number of lots traded 18,737.
Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 8.466 billion, followed by WTI crude oil PKR 6.554 billion, natural gas PKR 735.146 million, currencies through COTS PKR 686.776 million, gold PKR 589.150 million, DJ PKR 351.219 million, platinum PKR 224.040 million, SP500 PKR 163.891 million, copper PKR 52.692 million, silver PKR 44.781 million and Brent crude oil PKR 12.714 million.
In agriculture commodities 4 lots of cotton valued at PKR 2.036 million were traded.
