Secretary Aviation has constituted a committee to formulate recommendations on national aviation policy in two weeks. The Secretary Aviation chaired a meeting with industry stakeholders to discuss the national aviation policy and recommendations for revision of the policy. The meting was held at the Aviation Division.
After a detailed interactive discussion as proposed by the aviation industry stakeholders, the chair formed a committee comprising of representatives from all elements of aviation sector. The committee is directed to submit its recommendations in two weeks, covering all facets of aviation, including rationalization of 'open sky' as 'open and fair sky policy,' aircraft manufacturing industry and taxation regimes for revival of aviation sector to supplement economic growth in Pakistan.
