The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has set up its first tax facilitation centre (TFC) in Abbottabad to facilitate taxpayers in filing of their services tax returns timely. Muhammad Tahir Orakzai, Director General of the KPRA, in a press statement issued here on Thursday said that the facilitation aimed to broaden the tax net and is a part of KPRA's revenue strategy of reforms with special focus on taxpayer facilitation.
He said that the center is situated within the vicinity of business and commercial centers, and easily accessible to taxpayers located in Naran, Mansehra, Galyat, etc, where maximum number of taxpayers can avail the facility. Director General revealed that competent officers have been deputed at this center to guide and assist taxpayers in the filing of tax returns and registration process.
