The availability of water for current Rabi crop has been estimated to be short by about 40 percent. In order to ensure that all the irrigation channels and growers thereon get equitable share, the irrigation authorities have prepared a rotation plan for all canal systems. The rotation of supply of Irrigation water is planned in such a way that during months of November and December adequate water would be available for sowing of Rabi crop on rotation basis.
To ensure and implement the rotation plan, the government of Sindh, under the orders of CM Sindh has decided to implement the rotation strictly and ensure that water reaches to the tail systems of all channels, controlling the theft and deploying the rangers where ever required. Any module if found tempered during the inspection would be closed as per Irrigation Act and Rules.
The growers are informed in their own interest and to avoid such and other penal action to modify the tempered modules if any at their own immediately.-PR
