The Lahore High Court on Thursday referred a petition seeking disqualification of Prime Minister Imran Khan to the Chief Justice for its fixation before a full bench seized with an identical matter.
The petition was filed by Lawyers' Foundation for Justice through A.K Dogar pleaded that Imran Khan had been constantly seeking to overthrow an elected government with the help of 'third umpire.' He said Imran Khan, when he was in opposition, held protests against the elected government, attacked buildings of parliament and other state institutions.
