Prime Minister Imran Khan Saturday asked the PTI-led Punjab government to accelerate measures for improving the socio-economic status of a common man.
He said this while talking to Punjab chief minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at the Chief Minister Office.
During the meeting, various matters of mutual interest including the development agenda being pursued by the Punjab government was discussed, sources said. Progress on new local bodies system and 100 days performance of the government were also discussed.
The sources claimed that the Punjab CM briefed the PM about the provincial government's 100-day performance. He also informed the PM that special attention is given to improve the quality of life of the people. Later, the PM chaired a meeting in which the provincial ministers also gave him presentation on the performance of their respective departments.
