Taiwan buys 110,000 tonnes US wheat

The Taiwan Flour Millers Association has issued an international tender to purchase 110,000 tonnes of grade 1 milling wheat to be sourced from the United States, European traders said on Thursday. The tender deadline is December 5.
The wheat is sought in two consignments, both of 55,000 tonnes, for shipment in 2019 from the US Pacific Northwest coast. The first consignment is sought for shipment between January 22 and February 5. The second consignment is sought for shipment between February 7 and February 21, they said. In its last reported tender on November 1, the association purchased 101,400 tonnes of milling wheat to be sourced from the United States.
