PTI govt breaks all records of taking foreign loans: Khurshid Shah
SUKKUR: Pakistan Peoples Party senior leader Syed Khurshid Shah said on Sunday that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in its election manifesto had made claims to provide five million houses and 10 million jobs to the poor people, but it didn’t prove true.
Talking to media in Sukkur, the PPP leader said the PTI government had broken all records of taking foreign loans in a month. “PTI government is giving politicians a bad name by using derogatory language and hurling baseless allegations at opponents.
PM had promised to answer the nation in parliament every Wednesday, but it could not happen in five months. He demanded of the PM to explain his sister Aleema Khan’s property.
Shah further said the people were undergoing the worst times of any government in terms of unemployment and inflation. Shah said his party and opposition would definitely support the government if it initiated any public welfare plan to bring real change to the fate of the poor, however, he said PTI government deceived the nation on all issues including employment, new houses for poor people and resolving of the South Punjab issue.
The PPP leader said his party transferred powers to the grass-root level during its tenure from 2008 to 2013. It was the first time that the presidential powers were transferred to the parliament, he added.
