Sheikh Rashid next information minister?

Flamboyant Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Saturday strongly reacted to Railways minister Sheikh Rashid's claim, saying only the Prime Minister can decide who is best suited for the job of information minister.
"I'll be more than happy to vacate my position for Sheikh Rashid and serve as MNA...we all use trusted powers bestowed by the people of Pakistan and the Prime Minister decides who is best fit in the role," he tweeted.
He shot yet another tweet, and said: "Till I am minister 'I will not bow to blackmailing of advertisement lobby." The reaction from Chaudhry came after Sheikh Rashid claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan had offered him the all important information ministry.
Rashid, who had served as minister for information and broadcasting in the past, seems quite desperate for the job of information minister. When asked by journalists about his reaction if given the ministry, he said: "I will say I love you, Thank you."
The sources within the PTI said that Rashid has been literally begging the Prime Minister to give him the portfolio of interior minister. After losing all hopes to get the Interior Ministry, they added, Rashid is now lobbying to snatch the Information Ministry from Chaudhry, which is quite unlikely as the Prime Minister is quite happy and satisfied with his young and energetic information minister.
Speaking to media persons, Rashid had claimed he had four meetings with Prime Minister Khan on Friday last, in which he allegedly asked him to join the Information Ministry. "I told him to first let [Information Minister Fawad] come back from London ... he is in London on an eight-day picnic," he remarked.
INP adds: Later, Sheikh Rashid took a U-turn, saying that he could not even think of becoming information minister.
"Fawad Chaudhry is the best information minister; I am his supporter and stand by him. I cannot even think of becoming the information minister," he said. "It was said in jest," Sheikh Rashid sought to clarify his earlier remarks about the information minister.
"I am not eager to become information minister. I'm happy with the railways ministry and will deliver in the same," Rashid said.
"Fawad is my brother and he will continue to be the information minister. I will never be a part of any conspiracy against him come what may." He added.
