KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Peshawar next week. The Prime Minister besides, formally inaugurating shelter home will also be given detailed briefing on 100-day plan and hold meeting with the provincial cabinet.
The Chief Minister was talking to provincial ministers, MPAs, delegations and addressing different meetings here in Chief Minister's Secretariat on Saturday. The chief minister said that they had fixed final destination of change during the period of next five years and had prepared a sketch for activation of services, abolition of corruption, merit-based decision making, formulation of the process of effective accountability and consecutive welfare.
Mahmood Khan said that they had challenged the forces of status quo and these forces are now they are talking last breathing. But he said they will not let them till burial as they are responsible for the destruction of the society. The chief minister said if they review, that these forces are not only responsible for corruption rather they have also created way out of justice, social manners and violation of merit. The present quagmire situation, he reiterated is created by the forces of status quo. But, now we have to deliver real justice and protection of the rights of the people. "We have to prove that no one can make institutions subservient to their own sweet well and neither anyone can impose the decisions on the basis of their personal likes and dislikes on the people. Transparent governance is our hall mark and will stop hands working against merit and bring those doing injustice to the clutches of law," added the chief minister.
The chief minister said that for the establishment of welfare-state, they are abolishing the deprivation of homeless and downtrodden segment of society.
He said that they have to take small steps at gross-root level and abolition of the sense of deprivation of the poor, their rehabilitation and standing them on their own feet they had already prepared a comprehensive plan. He said that they had activated the institutions and will purge corrupt out of the system.
