Some 500 students belonging to the Faculties of Business Administration, Computer Science, Law & Education, will be conferred their respective degrees at the 11th convocation of the Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education (DIHE). The ceremony is being held in the sprawling lawns of the PAF Museum at 6:00 p.m. on December 11, 2018. Syed Sardar Ali Shah, Minister for Education, Culture and Antiquities will be the guest of honour and will present degrees to the graduates including six recipients of Gold Medals most of whom are female students.
The Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education was established in 2003 as a non- profit institution by the Dadabhoy Foundation and received its charter through an act of the Sindh Assembly. It is recognized by the Higher Education Commission and was placed in W (A) category in 2005. DIHE is dedicated to providing quality education at affordable cost to the lesser privilege with around 60% of the students are granted financial assistance through Dadabhoy Foundation. The institute has Alumni strength of over 8000 students, thus playing a significant role in promoting higher education in the masses.-PR
