Factory fire reduces goods to ashes

Fire erupted in a factory near Saba Cinema located in North Karachi area on Sunday which reduced large amount of machinery and other goods to ashes. According to a report aired by a private news channel, at least ten fire tenders were arrived at the scene and doused the blaze after hectic efforts of many hours. The police and ambulances had also reached the spot to assist the operation.
The fire had spread throughout the three-story building however, no casualty was reported. An official at the site told the news channel that there were no adequate arrangements in the factory to extinguish the blaze therefore the fire spread to the other floors.
