Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that resources of Punjab are available for development of Balochistan and PTI government will provide every facility to the Baloch youth for education and skills learning. He was talking to a delegation of students of Balochistan Residential College, Khuzdar that called on him here on Sunday. The CM shook hands with each one of them, and welcomed them on their visit to Lahore.
He said that Punjab government will set up a cardiology centre in Balochistan from its own resources. This centre will be a gift for our brother and sisters in Balochistan. We will consider increasing the quota of students from Balochistan in government and private education institutions and universities.
CM Usman Buzdar said the youth is an asset and we have high hopes from our youth. Balochistan is our future and this province has huge resources. If these resources are utilised then both Balochistan and Pakistan will progress.
He said Punjab is your own home and we welcome Baloch students in Punjab. This visit of Baloch students is the way of enhancing connection between students of the two provinces. Brotherhood, harmony and love can be enhanced through exchange of students visits, he added.
He said that students from Punjab will also visit Balochistan. Punjab and Balochistan are geographically linked as half of his native area in DG Khan District falls in Balochistan. I have visited Khuzdar and Balochistan some time ago and I am aware of your problems. He said Punjab government will review problem of Balochistan and it will play its role wherever needed. Speaking on the occasion teachers and students of the Balochistan Residential College, said Punjab government has always cooperated with us and we are happy to see educational institutions of Punjab during our study tour.
